As a recently refurbished building, the centre complies with the latest fire regulations. We have an extensive fire detection and signalling system, covering all areas. The system is remotely monitored to ensure a prompt response out of hours.
Reception staff are trained emergency first aiders and the centre has an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) available in the reception waiting area. These devices are deployed to assist persons suffering sudden cardiac arrest or suspected heart attack, and designed for use by anyone if such an emergency arises.
We run regular fire safety, and AED awareness sessions which are available free of charge to all occupiers and we encourage as many people as possible to attend.
The centre has a prayer room for use by people of all faiths.
