We are located just a few hundred metres from the Manchester orbital motorway the M60 at junction 22 and the site provides an excellent location for commuters from a wide area.
HOW IT STARTED
Formerly known as Vale Mill, built in 1868 and extended in 1882 and & 1920 — Vale Mill ceased cotton spinning in 1946 and became home to the wallpaper specialists, Stanley J Holmes. At its peak over 3000 people worked at the site.
The sprawling buildings, incorporating a building which was once one of Oldham’s early schools, stand on a five-and-a-half-acre site.
In 2006, the site was purchased by The Cross Group. The owners gathered an experienced management & development team who transformed the site into Oldham’s largest and best business centre.
The site welcomed its first occupiers in 2008. Since then, the centre has enjoyed high-occupancy levels and has undergone a substantial renovation throughout, including brand new purpose-built modern office & storage facilities throughout. Staff guarantee an active hands-on approach from day-to-day management to ensure a comfortable and stress-free working environment.
Security – the centre was designed with security in mind.
Safety & Welfare – it complies with the latest fire regulations, as well as the requirements for the disabled. It also has extensive fire detection and signalling system, covering all areas which is remotely monitored via a 24/7 manned control centre.
Equipment – From car parking areas to photography studios, the centre got you covered.
Vending Services – We have a number of vending machines available, providing hot and cold drinks plus a range of snacks and confectionary products.
